Adjustable Perimeter Weighting promotes draws, fades or a straighter flight.

Callaway’s Epic Flash packs a punch and is our pick as the best overall driver on the market. With advanced technology this club is going to get you round the course faster than Usain Bolt.

Don’t take our word for it! Golf Digest gave it 20 out of 20 in their hot list.

Finding a club’s sweet spot is not easy when you’re feeling the pressure.

The Flash helps you with it’s Jailbreak technology, designed to stiffen the head for more strength and stability.

It works by having 2 bars behind the sweet spot that stiffen on impact, giving you greater distance.

Callaway developed this club using A.I technology, and it shows! The design team worked hard to create one of the most advanced clubs around. There is no doubt then when you’re ready to step up to the next level, this club will be waiting for you.

The driver builds on this technology with it’s adjustable perimeter weighting that helps promote draws, fades and a straighter flight.

The Epic is probably a little too advanced for the beginner golfer. You could find it overpowering if you’re just starting out, but it’s a club you’ll want to aspire to.

TaylorMade Golf M2 Driver

Key Features
Multilateral construction saves weight and repositions CG low and back
Deep more active speed pocket
Premium features and personalization

This is for the serious golfer, or the beginner looking to go to the next level. TaylorMade is one of the top brand names in golf and they’ve designed a superior driver at a great price.

The M2 driver has a six-layer carbon crown, with a titanium body. What does that mean, I hear you ask?

The combination of these materials reduces weight while still giving you distance.

Lots of reviews, mentioned how much they hit the ball straighter.

You’re going to notice a great improvement in your shot making with the M2. With loads of forgiveness, you’re not going to miss the fairway with this one, I gained 20 yards down the fairway in our trial.

It’s been noted in comments that the M2 although released in 2017 the club is still ahead of the competition in this price range. With some reviewers commenting that they have gone back to the M2, after using a newer driver.

On the technical side the the M2 is fitted with a 12-position loft sleeve with a 4A of adjustability. This is to say you can adjust the club by removing the club head from the shaft, and using a small screwdriver. to set up the club to suit you.

Another great feature of is the introduction of a speed pocket. This drops ball spin and gives you more distance when you hit the ball low ion the club head.

PGX Offset Golf Driver

Deep more active speed pocket
Premium features and personalization

Looking at the PGX Offset Golf Driver, there is obviously a drop off in quality, and technical design. This is a budget driver, but why did we choose this one as the best budget driver?

The M2 driver has a six-layer carbon crown, with a titanium body. What does that mean, I hear you ask?

The combination of these materials reduces weight while still giving you distance.

Lots of reviews, mentioned how much they hit the ball straighter.

The PGX is made with cheaper materials, but the build quality is quite exceptional for the price. It feels like a more expensive driver, than the price suggests.

For a beginner this is a great driver to start with. It has offset anti-slice technology, to help you hit the ball squarely at impact.

The club head comes with a large sweet spot (460cc) giving you maximum forgiveness when striking the ball.

The US Golf Association dictates that a golf driver can be no larger than 460cc

One reviewer talked about much further they could hit the ball, and almost eliminated their slice. That’s not to say I can promise you can do the same.

I finished with the same ball I started on the 1st tee. I hit 17 fairways, right in the middle. Unbelievable!.

In our tests we found that for the money this driver is better than most, and certainly for a beginner it will help improve your chances of landing on the fairway, and at some distance.
