Muni He, now a professional golfer and youngest LPGA Tour winner in 2010 at 16 years old.
Muni’s father introduced her to golf when she was five-years-old and by age 10 had played competitively in the United States, he encouraged his daughter’s passion for golf as it is one of the few sports that are offered from an early age on up through high school graduation; so while living overseas they would return every summer or winter break season to play more regularly or compete against some of America’s best junior players during their time stateside.

3.Jessica Korda
The 5’11” blonde haired, blue-eyed golfer credits her parents as the people who influenced her career. She started playing golf at age 8 and qualified for the tour on first attempt with a 6 LPGA Tour Victories! Her wins include 2012 Women’s Australian Open, 2014 Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic 2014 Airbus Ladies Championship and the LPGA Malaysia 2018 Honda Thailand.

At the age of 10, Lucy Robson moved to Florida with her family where she quickly became a junior golf player. She excelled in junior golf and has been a role model for young women with aspirations of becoming professional golfers. Alexis Thompson is a professional golfer who has accomplished numerous milestones in her career. Patty Tavatanakit, a Thai professional golfer who began her LPGA Tour career in January 2020 and had achieved first place at the 2021 ANA Inspiration – one of women’s golfs major championships.

11.Ana Belac
Ana Belac’s journey to professional golf was long and hard, but now she is on the right track. As a young girl growing up in Slovenia, Ana had an innate love for athletics and a propensity for golf. With only nine modest holes nearby her home country of Slovenia (she could be over 45 minutes away!), Ana found ways to stay active like competitive alpine skiing – dreaming all along that one day she would become a pro athlete just like her heroes!

12.Natalie Gulbis
Despite Natalie just winning a single event on the LPGA Tour, she has managed to become an international celebrity and ranks alongside other greats like Morgan Pressel and Paula Creamer. Born into a family that showed her love for sport at an early age (“from four onwards”), Natalie was able to win her first tournament when she was only seven years old! Sadly Natalie retired in 2020.
13.Ryu So-yeon
In 2007, 17-year old Ryu turned professional. Her first win as a pro came in February 2008 on the American Cactus Tour where she won by six strokes. In 2010, at age 20, Ryu joined the LPGA of Korea and immediately started winning her first event, the Sports Seoul Open . On 25 June 2017, Ryu won the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship and became the number one golfer in the Women’s World Golf Rankings.
14.Holly Sonders
A former college athlete and golf player, Holly got her start in broadcasting at the age of 21 on Golf Channel before joining Fox Sports five years later. Recently launching a website which features exclusive content that she admits would not be appropriate for social media platforms like Twitter or Instagram, this talented broadcaster will surely continue to keep busy!
15.Paula Creamer
Paula Creamer is not your average golfer. She’s a 10-time winner on the LPGA Tour. Known on the tour as the Pink Panther Paula took home one of her majors in 2010 with the U.S Women’s Open!

16.Maria Verchenova
Maria Vitalyevna Verchenova was the first Russian to become a full-time member of the Ladies European Tour and she has several top 10 finishes. She competed under her married name from 2012 to 2015 but reverted back in 2016 when she qualified for the Rio Olympics.

17.Beatriz Recari
Born and raised in Pamplona near northern Spain’s border with France, Recari began playing golf when she was only eleven years old. She enjoyed a successful amateur career – winning tournaments like the 2004 Spanish Amateur Championships, and capturing titles such as The 2005 French Amateur championships (French).

18.Sharmila Nicollet
India’s best female golfer, Sharmila used to be a tremendous swimmer. She was a state level swimmer (with over 72 medals in state and national meets) and an athlete. Speaking French, English and 5 Indian languages (Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Urdu), she also plays piano—and can effortlessly shop for clothes like it’s her job!

19.Blair O’Neal
Blair was born in Macomb, Illinois, Blair is a woman of many talents. In high school, Blair had already established herself as one of the best junior golfers in Arizona and was ready to take on a new challenge by entering college. Her ambition drives her as she pursues excellence on the golf course, or strutting down runways for fashion shows or catwalks at major events.

20.Cheyenne Woods
The Woods family has been a part of golf for decades. Earl Dennison Woods, Tiger’s half-brother and father to Cheyenne, introduced her to the game at an early age. His words still ring in his granddaughter’s head as she strives toward what he believed was possible: one of the first consistent black female players on the LPGA tour.

21.Belén Mozo
Belén Mozo is a professional Spanish golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and European Ladies Golf. Despite being an amateur, she won the British Ladies Amateur Championship in 2006! Although her golfing career appears to be over due to a hip injury Belén is now seeking out other personal opportunities outside of the LPGA Tour and competitive golf.
